Wig-O-Mania, the first UK hair solutions brand to establish offices and stores in Pakistan, understands the life-changing value its products bring—especially for those struggling with hair loss.

A woman’s hair is often seen as her ‘Crowning Glory.’ The loss of it can lead to profound psychological distress, resulting in low self-esteem, social withdrawal, and even affecting the success of medical treatments.

At Wig-O-Mania, we approach our Corporate Social Responsibility with genuine passion, driven by the positive impact our products can have on those suffering from hair loss. Our focus is on supporting underprivileged individuals, particularly cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, who are unable to afford a hairpiece but deserve the dignity and confidence it provides.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Bait-ul-Sukoon Hospital & Hospice (BSCHH), managed under ‘Bait-ul-Sukoon Trust’ is located in Karachi. In 2009, BSCHH moved to its own purpose-built premises, equipped with 79 beds for inpatient care and state-of-the-art diagnostic facilities such as mammography, ultrasound, radiography, a fully equipped pathological laboratory and an in-house pharmacy that provides a complete range of cancer treatment drugs, ensuring that patients have access to the latest and most effective treatment options. The hospital provides both palliative and curative treatments to all cancer patients totally free of cost.

This means that complete cancer treatment, including boarding and lodging, is entirely borne by Bait-ul-Sukoon. Additionally, all patients are pathologically tested, while the services include surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy under a team of five leading surgeons and an equal number of experienced and reputable oncologists.

While BSCHH is committed to providing free cancer care to its patients, it cannot achieve its objectives alone. Therefore, the hospital is seeking financial support from donors, organizations and individuals like you to help cover the costs of treatment for patients who are unable to afford the dual burden of this capital-intensive disease. By donating generously, you can help support Bait-ul-Sukoon’s mission of providing high-quality cancer treatment and care to those in need.

“At Bait-ul-Sukoon Cancer Hospital & Hospice, we care for patients who not only battle cancer physically but also endure the emotional and financial challenges that come with it. One of the most visible and difficult experiences for many is hair loss during treatment.

Message from CEO

Sabira

Hair loss in Pakistan causes deep psychological distress, often far greater than the physical discomfort. We recognize that many women who need a hairpiece cannot afford one. Our focus is especially on supporting teenage girls in Pakistan, whose education and confidence may suffer, and newly married women, for whom hair loss can bring strain into their marital lives.

To address this, we are partnering with compassionate doctors in Pakistan, NGOs in Karachi, Lahore, and nationwide, and like-minded individuals who share our mission to make a difference. Our belief is simple: every Pakistani woman, regardless of her financial background, deserves the dignity and confidence that comes with looking and feeling her best. Through this initiative, we strive to ensure that no woman in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, or across Pakistan is denied access to a hairpiece that can positively transform her self-esteem and support her treatment journey.
